Interview with Braden from “Colors” by G.C. Nichols

Q: So tell us about yourself. What got you in the crosshairs for your author?

“I think G.C. chose to write about me because I’m the epitome of what she perceives to be strong and passionate. Not only because of my special ability, or that I’m a leader, but because of the world I’m from.

Being in an outlaw motorcycle club people assume I’m some sort of criminal but that’s not the case at all. In our culture, you end up here for a reason. It stems from a desire to live free. There’s a bond in that and it unites us, like an extended family. I think G.C. wanted to portray the good in our culture, not the stereotypical mentality people have held onto for decades. Our club, Sovereign Few, joined together by our unique traits, a family of misfits, provided her that opportunity.”

Q: What was it that drew you to your mate?

“Even though I fought it, I knew Gioia was my mate almost immediately. She stole every bit of my sanity. I was worried at first that I’d just screw up her life worse after everything she’d already been through. In spite of that, I only wanted her more. I hadn’t met too many people with the same bad luck as me. Plus, her eyes… I couldn’t figure it out, but there was something in them. She was special, and every nerve in my body sensed it.”

Q: A little naughty fun, where was the wildest place you seduced your partner(s)?

Looks down and smirks, exposing his infamous dimple. “On my bike. We had a great ride that day. No pun intended.”

Q: If your partner wants to seduce you, what’s one trick she can play?

“She usually doesn’t have to work too hard at it. I’m usually after her like a wolf ready to pounce on a lamb.” Chuckles loudly. “When Gioia is around I’m so connected to her presence, it’s like my blood slithers through my veins. I can’t say one thing for sure. Maybe the smell of her hair… the way her jeans hug all the right curves… her smile.”

Q: What is the one place on your partner’s body that you know will drive them wild-in and out of bed?

“Now you’re pushin’ it.” Speaking sternly. “She’s my ‘ol lady. That’s for me to know and no one else to ever find out.”

Q: What was one of the most embarrassing thing your author did to you in “Colors”?

“She showed my vulnerability, my insecurities.”

Book Blurb: Gypsies bestowed the curse. A sadistic man unleashed its power.

Gioia Vita, at thirty-four, is not living the joyous life her cultural name might suggest. Haunted by an abusive past and tormented by the harsh illustrations of a cynical world she struggles to bury her secrets and find serenity in her life. Plagued by a glitch in her vision, she perceives colors and mystical imagery surrounding people that warn her of their intrinsic nature. With a fear of old world superstitions implanted into her from an early age, Gioia finds herself believing in these enchantments. Especially now, that she is seeing these… colors.

The desire for adventure in her sheltered life prevails when an acquaintance invites her back into the subculture of her rebellious youth. Her vision helps her navigate this tumultuous world few get to experience, the world of 1%ers. An enclave of brothers, bearing colors that reject normal society. She unexpectedly finds the warm colors of family, friends and a new love. Braden Davies restores passion in her heart, but can an outlaw from a chaotic underground culture heal her wounds? First, they must conquer the manipulative adversary that haunts them, unearth long buried family secrets, and learn that sometimes a curse can really be a gift.
