Baking with Emily Cale

I’ve been a bad baker lately. Maybe it’s the heat. Maybe it’s a lack of motivation. Either way, the only thing I ever seem to want to do is sit on the couch and eat ice cream. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it does make coming up with a recipe a little difficult.

BUT…I put my thinking cap on and came up with something that is both delicious and summer friendly. I keep seeing those chocolate chip cookie bowls pop up on Pinterest, but my one attempt ended poorly. So, I’ve made it much more simple and simply shoved the dough into the bottom of cupcake pans. Make it even simpler and just buy the tube of chocolate chip cookie dough. No mixing. No ingredients required.

Make sure you grease the bottom of the cupcake tins well and then stuff some of the cookie dough into the bottom. Fill each one about 1/4-1/3 of the way full. Bake for roughly 10 minutes at 425F (or until lightly brown and baked all the way through). Then remove and bake with something delicious. I recommend ice cream and chocolate sauce. Maybe some sprinkles.
