Cocktail Hour with Lisa Fox

Summer is here and it is the absolute perfect time of year to enjoy a Campari cocktail. I often forget about this lovely orange flavored, bitter, Italian red liqueur in my never-ending lust for champagne and it’s a damn shame. Campari makes a wonderfully refreshing cocktail, simply ideal for warm summer evenings. I’ve chosen the Negroni for today’s recipe – the most classic and iconic of all Campari cocktails.

  • 1 1/2 ounce Campari
  • 1 1/2 ounce gin
  • 1/12 ounce sweet Vermouth
  • Orange slice for garnish

Fill a glass with ice. Add all ingredients in equal portions. Drink! Enjoy! Repeat!

Author: Lisa Fox

World-renowned neurosurgeon, master chef, secret member of American royalty, seducer of legions of beautiful, outrageously sexy angels and demons and vampires and werewolves and the occasional pirate, Lisa Fox has done it all… in her own mind. In reality, she can generally be found at her desk with a cup of coffee close at hand. Or maybe a martini. It really depends on the day.
