Cocktail Hour with Lisa Fox


Summer is my favorite time of year mostly because it just goes so damn well with my very favorite drink champagne. There is nothing like sitting outside on a warm summer night sipping a cold glass of bubbly. Decadent and so very refreshing!

And one of the many beautiful things about champagne is that it goes so well with so many things. But for today, instead of rehashing the old familiar standbys like mimosas or bellinis, I’m going to tell you about a few of my other favorite accompaniments to add to your next cold glass of sparking awesomeness. Cheers!

Chambord – Adds a touch of raspberry mellifluousness

St. Germain – This fine liqueur made of elderflower blossoms adds light touch of exquisite flavor


Guinness – Ahh, Black Velvet if you please


Midori – For an explosion of sweetness you can’t go wrong with this melon liqueur
